For three days, Hamburg has become, once again, the capital of the wind energy sector thanks to the Wind Energy fair. A reference meeting for all professionals in which IEDGREENPOWER has been present with its own stand to offer all its new products.
“We were eager to share the new products we have designed to contribute to improve safety during operation and maintenance works in wind turbines. Among them is SAFE-STEP, the first emergency lighting system integrated into the wind turbine ladder, which has been very well received,” said Carlos Martín, CEO of IEDGREENPOWER.
SAFE-STEP is a significant advance over current systems because of its ability to provide the necessary lighting for work on the machine at all times. Capable of being tested remotely and with a battery life of more than 13 years, it is currently the most efficient product and requires the least maintenance.
All those who visited stand B7.526 were able to experience, thanks to a virtual reality experience, the improvement that SAFE-STEP offers when moving around the wind turbine.
In addition, IGP has shown two more products at the fair. Firstly, SAFE-OM, an integral safety system for wind turbine maintenance, as it integrates all the safety elements of the machine (lighting, fire, movement…) into a single one. And likewise, the new range of LX luminaires, an evolution of the successful LV that incorporates as main novelty to manage the lighting of the machine remotely.
